Mac User Magazine November 5th Issue

Above is my showcase in MacUser Magazine, I'm really pleased with it!
The magazine itself is also just really well designed so it's a pleasure to look at.

MacUser Magazine

I am going to be featured in the November 5th issue of MacUser Magazine in the artists showcase! I was asked to provide 5 of my illustrations and also talk about how I use Mac as part of my image making process, really looking forward to seeing the mag!

AOI Images 34

On Tuesday 7th September I went along to the annual AOI images 34 exhibition as an illustration of mine was featured in the 'Self promotion' category. It was fantastic to see it amongst so many other impressive and interesting pieces of work. After the awards were announced it was a must to have my photo taken with my illo...and I saw lots of others scuttling away to do the same, so here's that photo as well as the featured piece itself!

Back to Business

I was commissioned to do another piece for Management Today magazine which is in the April issue. The article advises how to control your ego in the workplace and keep your thoughts to yourself!

AOI Images 34

I have just found out that I was lucky enough to be selected for the AOI Images 34 exhibition which takes places in Summer 2010. The image selected was a mailer I sent to some clients this year, I'm so pleased to be part of the show- I can't wait!

Runner's World Magazine

Below is an illustration for Runner's World magazine. The story was about a husband's annoyance at his wife's new found love affair with running, it was a really funny article which made the illustration all the more enjoyable to do!

Business as usual...

This is a recent illustration for an article in the July issue of Management Today magazine which provides bullet points to produce the perfect CV. You should most definitely mention your ability to sell an Eskimo a fridge!

As promised here are some pictures of Underwired magazine, which dropped through my letter box this morning.



There's also a short biog inside, including a photo *gulp* of me, taken in New York- I thought this was appropriate with it being an American publication and all! Although I probably appear a little too wrapped up for the May addition, but then again I'm always cold!

Underwired magazine

One of my illustrations has graced the glorious front cover of Underwired Magazine, a women's lifestyle magazine published in America. The May issue is out now, I will post a photo when my copy arrives from Kentucky!

Ra Ra Riot!

Here is an image I produced for Daytrotter.com of an American band called Ra Ra Riot! A few of their songs reference ghosts and deathly things, so I wanted to give the image a slightly unnerving and odd feel...

The 405

I recently did an illustration for The 405. It was to create an image based on the Icelandic band "For a minor reflection". I could imagine their songs being the perfect soundtrack for a beautifully scenic Icelandic road trip!
